Sharp Tor sits on Harford Moor at roughly 348 metres. It is one of at least seven tors sharing the Sharp Tor name across Dartmoor, each with its own height and character. A Bronze Age cairn marks this location, evidence of prehistoric use of the high moor. The tor itself forms part of the granite landscape that defines this part of south Dartmoor.
