Kitty Tor sits on the massive whaleback of Amicombe Hill, one of Dartmoor's highest points. It is a modest tor with two outcrops, a prominent flagpole that flies a red warning flag during military firing, and two huts nearby. The views from the summit are excellent, offering sweeping vistas across the moor despite the tor's relatively small size.
