Kennon Hill

Devon

Kennon Hill is a straightforward high point on Dartmoor's central plateau, crowned with granite outcrops and surrounded by open moorland. At 478 metres, it is not the highest or most dramatic tor, but it holds a clear, uncluttered place in the landscape, offering good views across the surrounding moor in most directions.

The walk to Kennon Hill is typically easy moorland walking, undemanding and quiet. It sits within the heart of the park, away from the main tourist routes, making it a good choice for those who want height, views and solitude without difficulty.
