Great Combe Tor
Devon
Great Combe Tor stands at 295 metres, a quiet granite peak set among the rolling moorland of central Dartmoor. The tor itself is modest in stature but characteristic of the moor, with weathered granite outcrops offering a natural vantage point across the high ground.
The approach is across open moorland with good walking, and from the summit you gain views across the surrounding Dartmoor landscape. The tor makes a natural waypoint on longer moorland walks and sits within easy reach of the network of paths that crisscross this part of the moor.
