Great Combe Tor sits on the western edge of Dartmoor, above Peter Tavy, with a distinctive metamorphic rock appearance that makes the crags look darker. The north side is dramatic, with crags jutting from the hillside into a bracken-covered slope. It's often passed on the way to Peter Tavy Combe, offering views of the valley below and surrounding tors like Brent Tor and White Tor.
