Cramber Tor

Cramber Tor sits on high ground north of Devonport Leat and south of Hart Tor Brook, a short, much-weathered granite pile that feels isolated despite being reasonably accessible. The tor occupies the western rim of a large, boggy upturned bowl of moorland, with a trig point marking the opposite side. From its top you look down to Burrator Reservoir and west towards Cornwall, and can trace the Devonport Leat as it curves around the tor's southern flank before dropping across Raddick Hill. The easiest approach is from Norsworthy Bridge, following the forest track towards Crazywell Pool and up onto the moor.
