Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1010701) describes a cist on a west-facing slope above a tributary of Narrator Brook, below and south-east of Roughtor Plantation. It runs south-east to north-west, with the north-west end and both side slabs in place and the south-east slab slightly out of line. It is 0.9 metres long, 0.9 metres wide and 0.5 metres deep, with traces of a kerb but no mound. It lies in the parish of Sheepstor, about 0.9 km south-west of Combeshead Tor and 2.1 km east of Sheepstor.
