Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1018907) describes an unenclosed hut circle settlement on a small knoll overlooking the North Teign River. It is a group of at least four free-standing hut circles. Two are rings of edge-set stones round spaces 5 and 5.6 metres across, and the other two are banks round spaces 5.7 and 6.5 metres across. The walls are 0.4 to 0.5 metres high, averaging 0.48. One hut has a visible doorway, and all are of single upright-stone construction. It lies in the parish of Gidleigh, about 0.9 km north-west of Scorhill Tor and 2.2 km south-west of Gidleigh.
