Five hut circles with curved walls, Ger Tor enclosure

Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1011241) describes a cluster of five stone hut circles and boundary walls inside a large enclosure on a south-east-facing slope overlooking the valley of the River Tavy. The huts are terraced into the hillside, 2.8 to 4.2 metres across inside and averaging 3.7 metres, with walls 0.2 to 0.5 metres high, averaging 0.34 metres. Two have visible doorways and one an annex. The boundary walls are curved rubble and earth banks 1.2 metres wide and up to 0.5 metres high. The western wall links two huts and the other partly encloses another hut. Neither makes a complete visible circuit, so they are either partly robbed, partly buried or unfinished enclosures. It lies in the parish of Peter Tavy, about 0.7 km north of Nat Tor.
