Two round cairns near Sourton Tors

Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1007822) describes two round cairns in an east to west line on a gentle north-east-facing slope of Sourton Tors, overlooking the valley of the West Okement River. The western mound is 4 metres across and up to 0.6 metres high. The eastern lies 1 metre from it, 3.3 metres across and up to 0.3 metres high. Shallow hollows in the middle of both suggest partial early excavation or robbing. It lies in the parish of Okehampton Hamlets, about 1 km west of Shelstone Tor and 3.4 km east of Bridestowe.
