Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1019263) describes a stone hut circle on a south-east-facing slope above the valley of the North Teign River. A rubble wall 1.5 metres wide and 0.5 metres high surrounds an oval space 5 metres by 3.7 metres, and a big earthfast rock forms the south-west side of the building. A gap facing south-south-east may be the original entrance. It lies in the parish of Dartmoor Forest, about 1.7 km north of Sittaford Tor.
