Round cairn 60m WSW of Branscombe's Loaf

This round cairn sits on the exposed summit of Corn Ridge, one of several burial monuments that cluster together here as a Bronze Age cemetery. The cairn is a Scheduled Monument, protected for its archaeological significance and its role in understanding how communities used and moved across Dartmoor in prehistory.

Today the site offers wide moorland views. The cairn itself is visible as a stone mound among the heather and grass. It stands as evidence of ritual practices and territorial markers that shaped the ancient landscape. Walking to Corn Ridge puts you among the weathered granite ridges that define central Dartmoor.
