Hut circle settlement in the Erme valley

Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1002607) describes an unenclosed stone hut circle settlement on the lower western slopes of Quickbeam Hill, east of the River Erme. It survives as up to eight hut circles, with a single wall of upright stones and rubble joining two of them. The huts are well built of coursed stone and upright stones, up to 0.9 metres high, and range from 7 to 9 metres across inside. Two seem to be unfinished and survive as partial arcs of wall, one with a dividing wall inside. Where entrances are visible they face south. Other remains nearby are scheduled separately. It lies in the parish of Harford.
