Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1002603) describes a prehistoric enclosure on the gently sloping south-eastern side of Huccaby Tor. It is an oval earthwork up to 49 metres long by 48 metres wide inside, with a stony bank up to 3.5 metres wide and 0.7 metres high and no clear entrance. It lies within part of the Dartmeet coaxial field system but has no direct connecting banks or close links to surviving reaves, and there are some large natural boulders nearby. It lies in the parish of Dartmoor Forest, about 2 km south of Laughter Tor and 1.2 km north of Hexworthy.
Inside is a very slight circular platform up to 4 metres across and 0.3 metres high, which may be the site of a hut circle. A track cuts through the enclosure.
This is not the larger Outer Huccaby Ring (Historic England list entry 1021050), which is scheduled separately.
