Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1011230) describes a sub-oval enclosure on a gentle west-facing slope overlooking Tavy Cleave. It is 29 metres north to south by 21 metres east to west inside, bounded by a rubble wall up to 2.5 metres wide and 0.5 metres high. The east half lies under peat, though the top of the boundary bank can still be seen. A bulge in the south-east corner may mark the site of a hut circle, now mostly buried, and a gap in the south wall is an original entrance. It lies in the parish of Peter Tavy, about 0.5 km north-east of Nat Tor.
