Enclosed hut circle settlement near Doe Tor

This scheduled monument is a Bronze Age settlement consisting of enclosed stone hut circles, situated on the open moorland east of Doe Tor. The remains show how families clustered their homes together for shelter and community, building circular stone-walled structures that have endured on the moor for over three thousand years.
