Boulters Tor

Devon

Boulters Tor is a modest but distinctive granite peak set in the open moorland of central Dartmoor. At 336 metres, it commands views across the moor in all directions, with the sense of exposure and space that characterises the higher ground here. The tor itself is characterised by granite outcrops and boulders, typical of Dartmoor's weathered landscape.

The walk to Boulters Tor is straightforward moorland walking, with access from the surrounding paths and open country. It sits within the working moor, away from the major tourist routes, making it a good choice for those seeking the quieter side of Dartmoor. The views from the summit take in the rolling granite landscape that defines this part of the moor.
