Western White Barrow

Grid ref: SX 6535 6548

On walking routes: Abbot's Way, Two Moors Way

Western White Barrow lies on the southern part of Dartmoor near the Two Moors Way and Zeal Tramway track. Originally a Bronze Age cairn, most of its stones were taken by peat workers to build a hut. It offers great views in all directions, especially back towards Redlake and Green Hill, with Plymouth Sound visible on a clear day to the south west.
