Water Hill stands at 489 metres on the eastern moor near Postbridge, marked by a substantial cairn at the summit. The climb is straightforward and rewards you with views across all quarters, particularly south towards Ryders Hill and southeast to Hameldown. You can also pick out Assycombe Hill and Fernworthy Forest from the top. There are no military ranges in the area, making it an uncluttered walk that justifies the modest effort required.
