Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1010774) describes two circular cairns, an ovoid cairn and a ring cairn within an enclosure, part of a cairnfield on a gentle north-west-facing slope of Homerton Hill, above the West Okement River. Other cairns and a length of bank nearby have their own schedulings. It lies in the parish of Okehampton Hamlets, about 0.7 km north-east of Shelstone Tor and 2.8 km east of Sourton.
The two round mounds are 4 and 6.3 metres across and up to 0.4 and 0.7 metres high. The larger has a hollow in the middle that suggests robbing or partial excavation. The oval cairn runs east to west, 4.7 metres long, 2.3 metres wide and 0.4 metres high. The ring cairn is badly damaged on its north-west side and survives as a C-shaped bank 2 metres wide and 0.4 metres high, which would originally have enclosed a space 7 metres across. A lynchet 1 metre wide and 0.3 metres high leads from it to the largest round cairn.
The enclosure survives as two separate lengths of rubble bank, probably once joined by walling that now lies buried. It is 100 metres north-west to south-east by at least 96 metres, with a bank 3 metres wide and 0.4 metres high, and a small gap in the south-east length may be an original entrance.
