Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1012696) describes a ring cairn on the summit of Shell Top. It is a ring of granite stones 20 metres across, 0.8 metres wide and up to 0.3 metres high, with a gap 3 metres wide on the north-west side. It lies in the parish of Cornwood, about 1.6 km south of Hen Tor and 3.3 km north-east of Lee Moor.
