Lowery Tor sits on the side of Peek Hill, offering fine views down to Burrator Reservoir and across to Plymouth Sound. It is often missed by visitors to Peek Hill, as it lies below and cannot be seen from the summit. The easiest way to reach it is from Peek Hill or Leather Tor, with a tough climb from the reservoir below. It is not marked on modern OS maps but is well documented in Dartmoor literature.
