Leigh Tor

Grid ref: SX 7101 7146

On walking routes: Two Moors Way

Leigh Tor is a low-lying tor on the east spur of a hill, just across the road from Aish Tor. It's a ridge of metamorphic rock, part of the Crackington Formation, and offers a good scramble to the top with views down to Spitchwick and across to Buckland Beacon. The Two Moors Way passes its north side, and the best time to visit is in winter when the surrounding woodland is less dense.
