Blackadon Tor sits on Blackadon Down and is often overlooked, appearing as a small outcrop from the south. Its granite has a unique composition, with patches of quartz and feldspar. Venturing to the north reveals a more impressive face and additional outcrops, showing the tor covers more ground than maps suggest. The walk from Leusdon Hall is straightforward, with views to Chinkwell Tor and Leigh Tor. The tor is partly overgrown but offers decent views from its summit.
