Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1015744) describes a boundary stone marking the eastern edge of Hentor Warren, on a gentle west-facing slope overlooking Hen Tor. It stands 1.18 metres high, 0.35 metres wide at the bottom tapering to 0.2 metres at the top, and 0.25 metres thick at the base against 0.15 metres at the top. The letters HWB3 are cut on its east face, for Hentor Warren Boundary 3, the third marker of the warren. The stone is named in an 1807 lease from Lord Boringdon to Peter Nicholls, a warrener from Sheepstor. The monument is in the care of the Secretary of State. It lies in the parish of Shaugh Prior, about 0.9 km south of Shavercombe Tor.
