Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1021053) describes a pillow mound on a gentle west-facing slope of Langstone Moor, above the valley of the River Tavy. It stands on a natural island among wet peat and runs north to south, 7 metres long, 3 metres wide and up to 0.6 metres high. The ditch the material was dug from surrounds it, 0.9 metres wide and 0.3 metres deep, and outside the ditch is a bank 1.5 metres wide and up to 0.3 metres high. It lies in the parish of Peter Tavy, about 1 km west of Clay Tor and 3.1 km north of Merrivale.
