East Mill Tor

Devon

East Mill Tor stands on the northern reaches of Dartmoor, a weathered granite peak reaching 513 metres. Its setting is characteristic of the high moor, with moorland and rough grass rolling away in most directions. The tor itself is a compact pile of granite blocks, solid and enduring rather than dramatic.

The walking approach is generally straightforward across open moorland, making it accessible to those exploring the northern plateau. From the summit, views extend across the expanse of the moor toward Okehampton and beyond. It is a tor for those who value the honest Dartmoor landscape over rock scrambling or exceptional height.
