Berra Tor

Grid ref: SX 4779 6904

On walking routes: West Devon Way

Berra Tor is a small, sedimentary outcrop perched above Balstone Wood on the edge of the National Park. It is tucked under trees and can be tricky to find, with a grassy path leading to a small rocky outcrop. The tor is near the River Tavy and has the remains of an Iron Age camp to the north-east. Views are limited by trees but offer glimpses down to the River Walkham valley.
