Double stone alignment near Black Tor

This scheduled monument comprises a double stone alignment and three cairns, likely dating to the Bronze Age. The alignment and cairns sit on the moorland south-west of Black Tor, part of the complex ritual and funerary landscape that characterises upland Dartmoor. Such alignments often mark pathways, boundaries, or sites of ceremonial importance in prehistoric communities.
