Trendle earthwork NE of Kelly College

Trendle is a scheduled monument consisting of a circular earthwork, probably a defensive settlement or domestic enclosure dating to the Iron Age or Bronze Age. The site sits on open moorland northeast of Kelly College near Tavistock, where it forms part of Dartmoor's rich pattern of prehistoric settlement and land use.
Today the earthwork survives as a low circular bank and ditch, visible to those who know where to look.
