Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1003057) describes an unenclosed stone hut circle settlement on the eastern edge of Wigford Down, overlooking the Plym valley. It survives as three hut circles with circular rubble-built walls up to 2 metres wide and 0.5 metres high, around inside areas from 4.5 to 7 metres across. The settlement lies outside the Wigford Down coaxial field system. It lies in the parish of Meavy, about 1.6 km north of Shaugh Prior.
