Stone hut circle 930m ENE of Big Pond

This is a stone hut circle, the remains of a dwelling built during the Bronze Age when Dartmoor's high moorland was more extensively settled than it is today. The circular or oval foundation of stone rubble marks where a prehistoric family's home once stood.
