Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1010775) describes seven cairns in a cairnfield on a west-facing slope of Homerton Hill, above the West Okement River. Other cairns, an enclosure and a bank nearby have their own schedulings. All seven are roughly round mounds, 3 to 5.7 metres across and 0.8 to 1.1 metres high, averaging 0.94 metres. One has a shallow hollow in the middle that suggests robbing or early partial excavation. Some may hold burials, but the group most likely represents stone cleared from the ground for cultivation. It lies in the parish of Okehampton Hamlets, about 0.6 km north-east of Shelstone Tor and 2.7 km east of Sourton.
