Rowden Tor is a lesser-known tor on Dartmoor, sitting atop Rowden Ball near Widecombe in the Moor. It has two small memorial plates in memory of Dr Jeffrey W. Malim and his wife Mary. To the north lies Rowden Down, with an unusual rock field of light-faced granite boulders, some embedded in the turf. The area is occasionally swaled by farmers, which may explain the exposed stones.
