Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1008651) describes a round cairn on a west-facing ridge overlooking Burrator Reservoir. The mound is 10 metres across and up to 1 metre high and stands inside a post-medieval field. The area has been extensively mined for tin, and earthworks from that work survive close by. It lies in the parish of Walkhampton, about 0.9 km west of Down Tor and 2 km north-east of Sheepstor.
