Little Boulters Tor

Little Boulters Tor is a small, granite-topped rise on the northern reaches of Dartmoor, standing at 329 metres above sea level. It is an understated feature, lacking the dramatic rock formations of its more famous neighbours, yet characteristic of the granite landscape that defines the high moor. The tor sits in open country where the ground is rough with heather, bilberry and stone.
The walk to and around Little Boulters Tor takes you through typical moorland terrain. There are no marked paths, but the ground is navigable and the tor itself visible across the upland. The views from the summit are wide and uncluttered, looking across the moor's broad horizons. This is a place for walkers who value solitude and the simple fact of height over spectacle.
