Kings Tor stands high above the Walkham Valley, offering fine views north towards Cox Tor and the Staple Tors. The tor has two rock basins, one on the summit and another to the west. The disused Princetown Railway loops around its base, and four quarries are visible in the surrounding area. It's a solid, granite formation with a clear vantage point over the valley and surrounding tors.
