Emsworthy Rocks

Emsworthy Rocks is a huge elongated ridge of granite outcrops halfway between Holwell Tor and Saddle Tor. It stretches around 400 metres east-west, with some outcrops named Fitches' Holt and Whortleberry Rock. The area has old tramway rails and quarries on the eastern side, and offers fine views towards Hound Tor Combe and Hameldown. It sits on a natural path between Saddle Tor and Haytor, making it easily accessible.
