Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1012270) describes a cairn with a cist 150 metres west of Legis Lake. The mound is 0.4 metres high with a kerb 5 metres across, made of eleven stones, some of the larger ones fallen, and a central cist. All four slabs of the cist are in place and it is 1 metre long, 0.5 metres wide and 0.4 metres deep. The cover slab, 1.4 metres by 1.2 metres, is displaced and overhangs the cist. It lies in the parish of Sheepstor, about 0.5 km west of Legis Tor and 2 km south of Sheepstor.
