Ter Hill
Devon
Ter Hill is a small granite tor rising from the open moorland of central Dartmoor. It offers uncluttered views across the high moor and makes for a straightforward walk from the surrounding paths and bridleways that cross this part of the plateau.
Like many of Dartmoor's lesser-known summits, Ter Hill has the quiet character of the moor itself. The granite outcrops catch the light differently in each season, and the exposed position means weather shapes the experience as much as the destination. It is a good spot to pause on longer walks across the high ground.
