Ter Hill is a fairly flat and unremarkable mound, not offering much in the way of dramatic features. However, it does provide good long-distance views to the west and north. The Terrill Posts, two crosses on the side of the hill, mark the highest part of the Maltern Way. The best approach is from Hexworthy, making a detour to Skir Hill first. The terrain can be boggy and challenging due to its remoteness.
