Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1010789) describes a round cairn on the south-west-facing slope of Little Hound Tor, above the valley of the Small Brook, part of a distinct group of at least four cairns, a stone circle and a standing stone. The mound is 7 metres across and up to 0.8 metres high, and a large earthfast granite slab forms its west side. It lies in the parish of South Tawton, about 1.8 km north-east of Steeperton Tor.
