Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1017480) describes a round cairn on a gentle south-facing slope overlooking the Ruelake Pit. It is a stony mound 6.4 metres across and 0.6 metres high, with a shallow pit in the middle that suggests an early partial excavation or robbing. It lies in the parish of Throwleigh, about 1 km north-west of Rival Tor and 3.3 km west of Gidleigh.
