Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1020099) describes a ring cairn on Holne Moor, above Venford Reservoir and the valley of the River Dart, an outlying part of a group of mounds along a prominent ridge. It is an incomplete circular rubble bank 2 metres wide and up to 0.3 metres high round a space 19.5 metres across. The south-west part of the bank cannot now be seen but may survive buried. In the middle is an oval mound 9.7 metres by 7.2 metres and up to 0.4 metres high. Two small oval hollows cut into the west side of the ring are later tin prospecting pits. It lies in the parish of Holne, about 1.3 km south of Hockinston Tor and 1.9 km north of Michelcombe.
