Manaton and East Dartmoor Theatre

MED Theatre is a registered charity and developmental community theatre based on Dartmoor, creating multigenerational original work rooted in the landscape, ecology, history and folklore of the national park and surrounding rural Devon. They run drama groups for young people and adults, alongside community plays and experimental projects that explore the relationship between theatre and its environment.

The organisation offers education programmes for young people, group sessions for all ages, and opportunities to participate in their work. Their approach draws creative inspiration directly from Dartmoor's distinctive character and the social and environmental issues facing rural communities.
