Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1018711) describes a kerbed cairn and cist on a south-facing slope of Sittaford Tor, above the valley of the East Dart River. The cairn is two partial concentric rings of edge-set stones up to 0.75 metres high round a mound only 0.2 metres high. The inner ring is 2.8 metres across and the outer 5 metres. Inside the inner ring a large fallen slab, 1.6 metres long and 0.25 metres wide, aligned north-north-west to south-south-east, may be the cover stone of an intact cist. It lies in the parish of Dartmoor Forest, about 1.9 km north-west of Stannon Tor.
