Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1003190) describes a stone hut circle on the crest of a hill that forms the steep southern side of the West Dart valley. It is a substantial ring of double upright-faced, rubble-filled walls up to 1.3 metres wide and 0.8 metres high, enclosing a level circular inside up to 9.1 metres across, with no clear entrance. It lies in the parish of Dartmoor Forest, about 1.3 km east of Blakey Tor and 2.3 km south-east of Two Bridges.
A substantial coursed newtake wall overlies the south side of the hut circle and includes some of its upright stones. Other remains nearby are outside this scheduling.
