Enclosed stone hut circle settlement 700m south of Leeden Tor

This scheduled monument consists of a cluster of stone hut circles, the remains of a prehistoric settlement that once housed families and their livestock on Dartmoor. The site likely dates to the Bronze Age, when the high moorland was more extensively farmed and occupied than it is today. The stone foundations and circular floor plans are still visible in the landscape, evidence of how people adapted to life on the exposed moor centuries ago.
