Chagford Swimming Pool

Chagford Swimming Pool is one of the South West's largest river-fed open-air pools and one of only a handful in the country still run entirely by volunteers. Located on the edge of Dartmoor, it's a community asset that has served locals and visitors for decades, fed naturally by the River Teign.

The pool operates seasonally and relies on donations and volunteer support to stay open. The team occasionally hosts special events like moonlight swims. Given its volunteer-run status and ongoing maintenance needs, checking ahead before visiting is advisable.
