Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1012211) describes a cairn with a cist on a north-west-facing slope about 400 metres south-east of Shavercombe Tor and 50 metres south of the Shavercombe Brook, one of several cairns close by. The mound is 5 metres across and 0.4 metres high, with a low kerb of at least eight stones up to 0.5 metres wide and 0.2 metres high. The four slabs of the cist are in place, and inside it measures 1 metre long, 0.7 metres wide and 0.6 metres deep. The western side slab is 1.6 metres long and runs past the south end slab, the eastern side slab is 0.8 metres long, and there are gaps between it and the end slabs, which are 0.7 and 0.6 metres long. It lies in the parish of Shaugh Prior, about 0.6 km north-east of Hen Tor.
