Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1019269) describes five cairns forming a cairn cemetery on a high ridge of Holne Lee, above the valley of the River Dart. The scheduling falls into three areas. Four of the mounds have pits that show early investigation with no record of it. It lies in the parish of Holne, about 2.4 km south of Combestone Tor and 1.9 km west of Michelcombe.
The eastern cairn is a mound 13.3 metres across and up to 1.3 metres high, with a pit in the middle 4.8 metres by 4 metres and 0.7 metres deep, its spoil heaped on the south side. About 80 metres south-west is a substantial mound 21 metres across and up to 1.3 metres high. West of it is a smaller mound, 9.5 metres by 7.8 metres, and a few metres further west another large cairn 22.5 metres across and 1.1 metres high. The southernmost, 7 metres across and 0.5 metres high, is the only one with no sign of interference.
