Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1011238) describes a stone hut circle inside a large enclosure on a south-east-facing slope overlooking the valley of the River Tavy. It is terraced into the hillside, with walls of stone and earth round a circular space 8 metres across, the wall 2 metres wide and up to 1 metre high. The doorway faces south, is lined on both sides by upright stones, and the entrance passage is paved with slabs. It lies in the parish of Peter Tavy, about 1.1 km north of Nat Tor.
